About Us

A self confessed textile addict, Olivia Mew founded Stay Home Club for two main reasons:

To provide a venue for artists and illustrators to explore textiles as a medium. Having spent several years building up her own brand of illustrated textile goods, she often came across others eager to do the same but without the time / means to make it happen. Stay Home Club allows these artists a no-risk situation where they can test the waters of textile surface design. Each item bought on Stay Home Club goes towards supporting the artist who designed it, and each artist involved receives copies of their product so they can experience it firsthand.

To provide customers with their favourite artists' work on unique, useable items. Our textile goods are an affordable way to bring artwork into your home. We love the traditional art print & can't say no to a good art t-shirt, but we strive to bring you items that aren't readily available elsewhere. We also select artists whose work we think best transfers to these mediums. We're lucky enough to have some artists create work especially for us, with a specific textile item in mind.

We launched in August 2012 with 6 limited edition pillow cases designed by fantastic artists. In the future we plan to expand to bigger home textiles and smaller textiles too. With the firm belief that textiles are one of the most simple, effective and inexpensive ways to refresh your living space, we hope we can help make your surroundings look and feel really good.

Stay Home Club is based in Montreal, Canada, and is currently a one woman behind the scenes operation with a little help from pals and a collaborative relationship with a great print shop. All of our bedding is 100% cotton (though we provide a poly/cotton blend as a lightweight option for overseas customers), made and printed right here in Montreal. Everything on the site is printed in North America. Yeah!
