RE: BLANKETS
WHERE CAN BLANKETS BE SHIPPED TO? HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Blankets can be shipped to the US (for free), Canada (for a flat rate of $20 USD, no matter how many blankets you buy) and the UK (for a flat rate of $25 USD, no matter how many blankets you buy).
*IMPORTANT NOTE FOR CANADIANS* Due to the probably-looming Canada Post strike action and predicted service delays, we have removed Canada Post shipping options from our office for the time being. We offer many other shipping options within Canada (ICS, Purolator, UPS, FedEx, & $5 bike delivery within Montreal) HOWEVER: BLANKETS SHIP FROM THE USA VIA THE POSTAL SERVICE AND WILL HAVE TO COME THROUGH CANADA POST’S HANDS ON THEIR WAY TO YOU - so there may be shipping delays associated with those! We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience! Read their negotiation updates here.
WHY DO BLANKETS HAVE DIFFERENT SHIPPING RULES THAN THE REST OF THE WEBSITE?
Our blankets are made to order by our weaver in the USA. They ship directly from there rather than coming through our office in Montreal, Canada. Because of this, they can't be shipped alongside other item types, shipped to countries we don't have tax agreements with (in case there are issues at customs, anything returned to the weaver doesn't come back to us and they do not have a returns process). This is also why they don't fall into our "free shipping over $115" for Canadians - since they are rather bulky items shipping from the USA, absorbing the shipping cost is impossible for us.
WHAT IF I WANT TO ORDER OTHER THINGS WITH MY BLANKET?
Blankets can't be purchased with other item types in your cart, so we encourage you to place a separate order with anything and everything else you'd like to order! This way your other items will also ship more quickly (as the blankets take 1-2 weeks to be made and shipped).
RE: PICK-YOUR-PATCH
ARE THE NEW PATCHES ON SALE?
They are not! The 25% discount on pick-your-patch items applies to the base item only (linen notebook or denim tote). Patches will be part of our Black Friday sale in 2 weeks, so you're welcome to purchase the base items plain and stick patches on yourself later (while we do heat-press them for you here when ordered together, the adhesive on the sticky patches is pretty robust all on its own! You can also iron-on all our patches).
RE: CUSTOM PORTRAITS
HOW LONG UNTIL I GET MY PORTRAIT?
Other than "fully custom" portraits, which can take up to 2 weeks to design, all custom portraits and prints have a turnaround time of up to ONE WEEK. You will receive your digital copy of the portrait by email, so keep your eyes peeled for that! If you chose to have a physical copy printed, it will ship shortly after you receive the email.
CAN I ADD ADDITIONAL CHARACTERS TO MY CUSTOM PORTRAIT? WHAT ABOUT EXTRA HAND-DRAWN DETAILS?
Our designer is happy to add special details or extra characters to your portrait beyond what the website is set up for. Please email aislinn@stayhomeclub.com with your requests and she can put together a custom order for you!
RE: ALL OF THE ABOVE
WILL THESE BE ON SALE AGAIN FOR BLACK FRIDAY?
No - these specific items will only be on sale today. Blankets and custom portraits will leave the site temporarily as soon as the sale is over, and return once our Black Friday orders have been fully shipped out. Pick-Your-Patch items will leave the site before it opens for business on Black Friday, and will only return after the sale as well. Given their respective turnaround times and shipping times, this is most likely your last chance to get a blanket or printed custom portrait before Christmas.
