From Mayne Island, BC artist Hissing Mink comes this serious of gorgeous and charming printed paper garlands.

This "Deep Forest Folklore" garland features strange creatures, witches and fairies from folk tales. From the dancing cats of shippeitaro in Japan, to Medeina, the fierce Lithuanian goddess of the woods, to the Unicorn in captivity of medieval European tapestry fame.

The garland measures around 7 feet long, with each flag around 6" high,  and is made from scratch in Canada.
