Harvest Season Folklore - Paper Garland
From Mayne Island, BC artist Hissing Mink comes this serious of gorgeous and charming printed paper garlands.
As the days grow cool and the nights long, we prepare for the dark half of the year. Autumn brings seasonal harvest, and to many, a liminal time when the boundaries between worlds become thin. This garland features eight illustrated tales from the harvest season, from the cruel Korenpater to the mischievous Púca.
The garland measures around 6 feet long, with each flag around 6" high, and is made from scratch in Canada. It is intended for indoor use only.
